HK Driving is an independent directory that makes public instructor information easier to find and gives learners a place to share first-hand experiences.
Source and updates
Instructor profiles are extracted from the Hong Kong Transport Department’s Group 1 and Groups 2 & 3 private driving instructor lists. School contacts come from its bilingual designated driving, improvement and pre-service training school pages. The update workflow checks the official page monthly for current PDFs and extracts names, phone numbers, vehicles, areas and teaching languages. The Department generally updates the list quarterly; a monthly check does not imply a new official edition every month.
What the directory covers
Inclusion is voluntary and the source is not an exhaustive licence register. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of service quality or current availability. Confirm lesson arrangements, prices and licensing directly with the instructor.
Names and corrections
Records with the same name but different phone numbers remain separate. Matching names and phone numbers across groups are combined with group-specific details. Ask the Transport Department to correct source data. For display or comment issues on this site, use the contact channel below and include the profile URL and requested correction.
How this site is supported
We plan to support the site with Google AdSense. Advertising does not affect instructor ordering or profile data. The directory is sorted by English name, without paid recommendations. No star ratings or scores are shown without supporting data.
