Wheelbase is the distance between the front and rear axle lines, not overall length. These values apply only to the named reference, not every year, version or adapted training car.
Automatic driving pedals: brake and accelerator.
Know these differences first.
No driver-operated clutch pedal
A conventional automatic has the brake to the left of the accelerator, both operated with the right foot. Some vehicles have a separate foot-operated parking brake; an extra pedal must not be mistaken for a clutch. Confirm the actual layout.
READY can mean drive-ready even in silence
A hybrid can be ready to move while its petrol engine is silent. Check the READY indication and the correct manual rather than relying on engine noise.
B is not reverse; P is not the parking brake
R means reverse. B provides stronger engine braking and serves a different purpose from D; follow the correct manual and instructor’s guidance. P is the park position and is a separate function from the parking brake.
